Come share a meditation with me...

There was a surreal atmosphere in the room when I last taught a yoga class in person. 


It was 16 March 2020 and as we unrolled our yoga mats, there was a palpable sense of unease and trepidation in the air. 


The country was sailing in uncharted territory and we all knew it. 


As we set our intention for the class, the familiar feelings of yoga calm pervaded the room and once we were underway, it was easy to forget the rapidly evolving story that was all over the news at the time: Covid 19 and the impending threat of a nationwide lockdown being declared. 


As I checked my mobile at the end of class though, it was clear that we had to face a new reality - this would be the last time my yoga students and I would meet in person for some time. The Prime Minister had announced that lockdown had started and classes like mine would need to come to a halt immediately.


For every one of us, our world changed overnight. 


Since then, many of you have been in touch to ask if I am still teaching yoga or if I intend to. Firstly, let me say how much I miss sharing the gift of yoga with you and I miss all of you very much! 


Good News

Whilst I’ve not yet started a new yoga class (although that is something I’m hoping to do - watch this space!), I do have some good news to share if you’re local to Aberdeen! 


I’ll be sharing the stage with some wonderful teachers to provide a Wellness Evening in aid of MISS, the miscarriage charity this November and I'd love to see you there! I’ll share two live meditations at what promises to be a special, relaxing evening to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause..


Happening in three weeks time at the Ban - Car Hotel (situated between Peterhead and Fraserburgh AB43 8RL) on Friday 15 November, the event is the perfect way to wind down at the end of a busy week with meditation, gentle yoga, sound bath and motivational speaker all included in the price.
