You start well but go off track.

Why is this happening?

This over eating, over drinking over thinking woman is not lazy or greedy.


Her blood sugar levels are through the floor and her body is under nourished. Her body - which has waited patiently all day - now demands a quick hit to stabilise levels of circulating glucose.


In her mind and emotions, her genuine un-met need for relaxation, soothing and connection see her reach out in this way. It's not laziness or being 'bad'.


It's just the best way she's found so far to meet those genuine needs. That's all. No greed. No laziness involved.


Additionally, there's a sense of intimacy and connection with ourselves when we indulge in our secret 'bad habits'.

How Coaching Works


When we don't know how to relax or take care of our real underlying needs, we end up with blood sugar highs and lows that see us resort to quick 'pick me ups' like big caramel lattes or goblet size glasses of wine and crisps that add inches to our waist and pounds to the scales. We 'numb out' and escape from our stresses and anxieties with unhelpful coping strategies like over eating, over drinking and binge watching tv...all in an effort to drown out the noise in our head that tells us that all is not well..that we need a rest.


Add in the effects of fluctuating hormones over 40 and you've got a perfect recipe for weight gain and low mood.


You need a new way and I don't mean a diet.


You need a paradigm shift and confidential support that allows you to be honest about what's going on in your life. You need compassion, support and accountability too.

Onboarding


On our first call, I’ll listen carefully to design a personalised plan that takes account of your unique challenges, strengths and opportunities. We’ll set you up for success so that these 90 days are a major positive turning point for you.


Step 3


High Touch Support - My Secret Sauce.


In our first coaching sessions, I’ll stay very close to you giving you access to me in between sessions incase you need emergency support and coaching. You won’t feel lost or overwhelmed. We speed up or slow down to ensure this journey remains fun and do-able for you throughout!


Step 4


Nurture and calibrate


We’ll set and calibrate your initial goals, set up rewards and break down large goals into smaller do-able steps so you gain momentum and motivation to keep moving forward whatever your goal. It’s so important to have early successes. That's why my coaching helps you lean in to all the goodness you experience along the journey.
